As a full gospel church affiliated with the Assemblies of God, we adhere to the sixteen fundamental truths followed by all Assemblies churches. You can read them here: https://ag.org/Beliefs/Statement-of-Fundamental-Truths
The One True God, I AM
The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “I AM,” the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Lord Jesus Christ, God with us
The Lord Jesus Christ, as to His divine and eternal nature, is the proper and only Begotten of the Father, but as to His human nature, He is the proper Son of Man. He is therefore, acknowledged to be both God and man; who because He is God and man is “Immanuel,” God with us.
The Holy Spirit, God in us
The Holy Spirit was sent by the Father, at the request of the Son, to help the believer know the truth and to live as a new creation in Christ. He dwells in all who belong to Jesus. Subsequent to salvation, we believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as recorded in the book of Acts chapter 2.
Man was created by God in His image to have a relationship with his Creator. That relationship has been broken because of man’s sin. Man needs to be redeemed. Man is an eternal being in that his spirit will continue to exist somewhere.
Salvation (redemption) is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God, according to the hope of eternal life. You can be saved too!
How To Become A Christian
The ABC’s of becoming a Christian
A. Admit you are a sinner – For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
B. Believe in Jesus – For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
C. Confess that Jesus is your Lord – That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
Bow your head and pray out loud a simple but sincere prayer from your heart like this one. “Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner because I have failed to follow Your ways. But I believe that You lived a perfect life and then died willingly for my sins. I accept You as my Savior. Forgive me and cleanse me as only You can do. Come into my heart and live Your life in and through me. Help me to serve You from this moment forward. Thank You Lord Jesus for saving me. Amen.” If you prayed this prayer, or one like it, from your heart, you are now a Christian. Find a good bible believing bible preaching church where people will love you and begin to grow in your new life in Christ. Congratulations!!
