Covid 19 Guidelines for attending live services at Brownsville campus.

Final Guidelines

  • Service times:
  • Sunday School classes – 9:45am to 10:45am. Doors open at 9:30am. Info here.
  • Sunday morning worship service at the church – 10:50am.
  • Wednesday night Bible Study resumed on-campus on August 5th at 6:00pm.

No restrictions on which entry or exit you may use, but we ask that no one “congregate” around any entry point. If you wish to visit with other members at length, before or after the service, please do so out in the parking lot in the open air. No coffee or snacks will be available in the kitchen.

It is recommended that everyone refrain from shaking hands or hugging, etc.

We encourage everyone to please practice good hygiene by washing your hands with soap and water before coming to church and after using the restroom. Restrooms will be available if needed, but we recommend they be used only if absolutely necessary.

The church has a very limited supply of hand sanitizer available for use. We ask everyone who can to please bring their own to church for their personal use.

In keeping with CDC guidelines, masks are not mandatory, but you may wear one if you wish. The church is unable to provide masks, so please bring one if you wish to wear one.

To accommodate social distancing, we ask that wherever you choose to sit in the sanctuary that you please leave one empty pew between yourself and those either in front or behind you. This applies only to those sitting on the same side of the sanctuary, not those sitting across the isle from you. Families may sit together in one pew.

A basket will be available in the sanctuary in the back near the ushers where you may place your offering either before or after the service. We also offer secure online giving here on our website. Just choose Online Giving from the menu above.

Prayer requests may be submitted via our email address which is firstassemblybrownsvilletn@outlook.com. If you do not have email access, you may call the church at (731) 772-1242 and leave a message.

Communion elements will be available at the alter table and will be arranged to limit personal touch. We will give more specific instructions during the service prior to this observance during the service.

Personal ministry at the alter will be limited, but Pastor Jamie will give instructions on how this will be conducted at that time for those who desire personal prayer.

At the end of the service, we ask that everyone go directly out of the building. You may visit in the parking lot if you wish.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time.
